This weekend we kick off the Advent season, where set aside time for waiting, watching, and longing for the celebration of the King who came and who is coming again. This Christmas, we find ourselves needing something more than just nostalgia or a merry escape from our everyday stresses. We need an advent that is honest and real, leading us to anticipate Jesus' arrival in the most ordinary moments of our lives.
